About the position

As a Credit Analyst (CA), you will play a crucial role in assembling, analyzing, and structuring financing applications. This position requires effective communication with distributors and customers throughout the application, underwriting, documentation, and funding stages. You will actively participate in resolving delinquent accounts and ensure the accuracy of customer financing documents, which is vital for minimizing risk and ensuring smooth operations. In this role, you will analyze customer applications and make underwriting recommendations in a timely and efficient manner. You will be responsible for verifying the accuracy of financing documents before they are sent to customers. Additionally, you will support the Vice President with day-to-day activities related to delinquent and non-performing accounts, as well as potential extension and restructuring candidates. Customer service duties will also be part of your responsibilities, including calculating and communicating customer payoff information for amounts less than $200,000. You will maintain the Aspire sales tracking database and may attend dealer open houses and trade shows to promote Dexter products to prospective finance customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Excellent customer service skills and exceptional oral and written communication abilities are essential. You should have good organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and a keen attention to detail to ensure correctness in analyses. A safety-oriented mindset is also important in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze customer applications and make underwriting recommendations in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Communicate with distributors and prospective/existing customers during the application, underwriting, documentation, and funding stages.
  • Verify the accuracy of financing documents prior to sending them to customers.
  • Support the Vice President with day-to-day activities related to delinquent and non-performing accounts, as well as potential extension and restructuring candidates.
  • Perform customer service duties, including calculating and communicating customer payoff information for amounts less than $200,000.
  • Maintain the Aspire sales tracking database.
  • Attend dealer open houses and trade shows as needed.
  • Help promote the sale of Dexter products to prospective finance customers.
  • Take ownership of business results and personal wellness.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • BBA in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
  • Strong computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent customer service skills with clear and helpful communication.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Attention to detail to ensure correctness in analyses and minimize risk.
