About the position

The Credit Analyst at PTSolutions is responsible for managing a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring that credit services are delivered effectively to support sales efforts while mitigating credit risks. This role involves close collaboration with the Accounts Receivable Supervisor and team members to maintain customer credit profiles, resolve discrepancies, and promote timely payments. The position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for growth within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Actively manage a portfolio of accounts, maintaining customer credit profiles and transactions.
  • Utilize credit reporting services to determine availability of credit.
  • Resolve invoice and payment discrepancies.
  • Promote prompt customer payments.
  • Apply cash application to correct customer accounts.
  • Collect past due balances.
  • Promote the company website to improve workflow and communication.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting or related field and/or 2+ years of previous experience in Commercial Credit, Accounts Receivable, and Collections preferred.
  • Accurate data entry, analytical, reconciliation, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and deductive reasoning skills.
  • Proficient use of a Windows computer, Microsoft Office (Outlook & Teams) & particularly Excel.
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalency.
