About the position

Pro Staff is seeking a detail-oriented Credit Analyst to join our team in Faribault, MN. This role involves managing a credit limit database and assessing client creditworthiness, providing a dynamic and challenging environment with opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a thorough analysis of financial statements and assessment of credit requests, including new requests, changed requests, refinancing, and annual due diligence.
• Provide recommendations tied to analysis and assessment of credit risk.
• Present analysis, findings, and recommendations to managers, especially findings that involve a borrower's ability to repay.
• Keep up to date with the company's lending protocols.
• Reconcile credit files and identify discrepancies and variances.
• Develop and prepare spreadsheets and models to support the analysis of new and existing credit applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field.
• 2-5 years of experience in credit analysis or a similar quantitative role.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical and time management skills.
• Solid understanding of financial statements, ratios, and credit risk analysis.
