About the position

The Credit Analyst position at East West Bank is focused on supporting the Healthcare banking group by performing due diligence, underwriting new credit facilities, and monitoring the loan portfolio. The role involves collaborating with Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers to analyze financial data, recommend credit structures, and identify opportunities for cross-selling bank products and services.

Responsibilities

• Work with Portfolio Managers and Relationship Managers to prepare credit memorandums for senior management, with comprehensive analysis, for prospective and existing clients
• Assist with portfolio management, including reporting monitoring and updating internal reports and compliance programs
• Support senior officers in all aspects of underwriting and closing deals and managing existing relationships
• Respond to client requests from client private equity firms
• Complete special projects as needed for other team members and senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or concentration in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
• 2-4 years of experience, ideally with credit training or experience in financial modeling and analysis
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Ability to work within set timelines while maintaining quality and attention to detail
• Flexible and adaptable to a dynamic work environment.
