About the position

The Credit Analyst position at Staffmark Workforce Solutions involves evaluating B2B account applications, investigating fraud, and managing chargebacks for a global leader in electronics and mobile devices. The role requires strong analytical skills and effective communication to adapt to a fast-paced environment, ensuring the integrity of financial transactions and customer accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Screen new B2B account applications to verify the legitimacy of the business and its size.
  • Investigate and resolve suspected instances of consumer fraud, including stolen credit cards and account takeovers.
  • Analyze patterns of suspicious behavior to prevent unauthorized activities.
  • Handle consumer and internal claims that exceed thresholds or could lead to legal issues.
  • Dispute chargebacks by providing evidence to financial institutions.
  • Complete ad hoc projects assigned by the direct manager.

Requirements

  • High analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Fluency in English; a second language is a strong asset
  • 1-3 years of experience in fraud, risk management, or banking services, particularly with chargeback and dispute resolution.
