About the position

The Credit Analyst at NIBCO INC. is responsible for assessing the credit risk and viability of potential and existing customers. This role involves communication with customers regarding payments and problem resolution, ensuring prompt collections, and maintaining accurate customer information.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the prompt collections of assignment area of active customer accounts.
• Working with Sales, Customer Service and Accounts Receivable in the management of disputes and collection activity within their customer assignment area.
• Promptly contacting delinquent accounts to arrange payment release.
• Monitoring and reporting on collection activities assigned to them.
• Obtain all necessary customer information needed to establish customer accounts.
• Maintain current and accurate customer information in customer credit files.
• Maintain accurate collection notes and records.
• Provide strong customer service.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of Credit / Collections experience is preferred.
• High school diploma required - 4-year business education degree is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to handle disputes and difficult customers/conversations.
• Ability to multi-task while ensuring customer satisfaction.

• SAP knowledge and experience.
• Excel knowledge and experience.
