About the position

The Credit Analyst position at United Bank is a vital role within the Commercial Lending department, focusing on analyzing financial statements and preparing loan applications. This position is designed for individuals who are eager to build relationships with customers and assist them in achieving their financial goals. The role involves closing loan transactions, maintaining accurate credit files, and providing support to Commercial Loan Officers and Branch Managers.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements and related materials.
• Prepare loan applications and required collateral documentation.
• Close loan transactions and create credit files.
• Maintain accurate and current information in credit files.
• Assist Commercial Loan Officers and Branch Managers with technical or advisory assistance.
• Handle all servicing aspects of the loan.
• Undertake special projects related to departmental services as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 1 to 2 years of related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents, such as financial reports.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to register and maintain NMLS Unique Identifying Number.
• Regular standing and walking.
• Utilizing hands and arms for tasks.
• Ability to talk and hear.
