About the position

The Credit Analyst at Helena Agri-Enterprises, LLC plays a crucial role in evaluating customer financial information and determining credit limits for accounts exceeding $25,000. This position involves collaboration with the credit team to analyze credit data, approve requests, and ensure compliance with company policies. The analyst will also support various system projects and provide guidance on credit-related matters across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze customer credit information to determine accuracy for credit approvals.
  • Review and approve rebate and refund requests within the authority limits set by company policy.
  • Compile and submit third-party financing applications as needed.
  • Support credit operations in the annual renewal of vendor prepay line approvals.
  • Assist with testing, implementation, and training of Oracle and other system projects.
  • Collaborate with other teams on enhancements and quality control related to credit processes.
  • Ensure credit file requirements are current for asset securitization audits.
  • Provide support and direction to division credit teams regarding credit matters.
  • Act as a liaison between IT, accounting, treasury, legal, and credit teams.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • One year of work-related experience or five years of non-clerical work experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Pivot Tables.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak in English; Spanish is a valuable skill.

Nice-to-haves

  • NACM, CBA, or CBF certifications are preferred.
