About the position

Convergint Technologies is seeking a full-time Credit and Collection Analyst who will be responsible for managing service invoices, following up on payments, and maintaining customer relationships. This role involves assisting with accounts receivable tasks and accounting duties, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization while fostering a positive work culture.

Responsibilities

• Entering service invoices in customer portals.
• Submitting invoices to customers.
• Following up on requests for payment via email or phone.
• Tracking invoice progress and maintaining detailed spreadsheets of invoice aging and customer updates.
• Providing updates to the billing team regarding customer invoice requirements.
• Reviewing invoices for accuracy and correct GL codes/PO requirements.
• Assisting the manager in creating monthly revenue and gross margin forecasts.
• Monitoring and tracking against financial forecasts.
• Running month-end financial reports and collaborating with the manager to achieve planned financial results.
• Performing other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in billing, bookkeeping, and/or financial roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Solid financial analytical skills including cost control and ability to interpret financial reports.
• Strong accounts receivable knowledge.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in financial software for tracking invoices and running reports.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Customer service orientation.
