About the position

The Credit Associate in Dealer Credit Administration plays a crucial role in supporting dealer customers by managing their wholesale accounts. This position involves processing manufacturer receivables, assisting with inventory management, facilitating ACH transactions, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The role emphasizes customer service and requires strong communication skills, along with a solid understanding of financial services and automotive dealership operations.

Responsibilities

• Process manufacturer receivables and associated adjustments.
• Assist dealers with daily inventory management, including creation of receivables and inventory transfers.
• Facilitate daily ACH transactions and ensure accurate posting of all payments.
• Balance general ledger accounts and research daily exception reporting.
• Prepare and route exception reports and identify incoming wires for deposit.
• Review supporting documentation for dealer funding requests.
• Supervise and respond to incoming email requests in a timely manner.
• Provide customer service for automotive dealers.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years' experience in financial services or a similar industry.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business or related field may be considered in place of experience.
• Proficient use of all Microsoft Office programs.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Understanding of automotive dealership operations is a plus.
