Additionally, the role may involve assisting with the Medicaid/Medicare Quarterly Credit Balance Reports, which encompass all entities under the healthcare system. A significant aspect of this position is the preparation of the annual Escheatment Report, ensuring adherence to North Carolina Escheatment processes. The Credit Balance Specialist must possess strong analytical skills and critical thinking abilities to determine the necessary corrections for accounts. Knowledge of insurance processes and coordination of benefits within the healthcare setting is essential. The role demands excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills, as the specialist will often interact with various stakeholders. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Ability to pass a Windows aptitude test and 10-key calculator test.
  • Knowledge of insurance and coordination of benefits in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong computer skills, including typing and ten-key proficiency.

  • Good oral and written communication skills.
