About the position
Bridgeforce is a niche management consulting firm that specializes in assisting clients within the banking and financial services industry to address pressing challenges and seize new opportunities. As a remote full-time Consumer Reporting & Metro 2® Subject Matter Expert, you will play a crucial role in consulting on client projects, which will involve a thorough analysis of client operational reviews and business issues. Your responsibilities will include hands-on data analysis, project management, and the development of work materials for clients, primarily in the form of presentations, documents, and spreadsheets. You will also be tasked with developing and managing client relationships, ensuring that you provide exceptional service and support to our clients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving, utilizing strong analytical skills to drive results. You will gather and analyze data by delving deeply into operational reviews, assessment matrices, and business issues. Documenting your findings and making recommendations based on your analysis will be key components of your role. You will present your findings through comprehensive reporting and presentations, participate in developing solutions to client issues, and conduct industry research related to banking regulations and compliance. Additionally, you will create and contribute to thought leadership content to support marketing efforts and develop trusted advisor relationships with clients to expand your consulting network. Your ability to leverage your consulting network and experience for business development will be essential in identifying new leads and sales opportunities. This position requires a self-disciplined individual who can work remotely 100% of the time and is willing to adapt to varying project objectives. While travel is largely dependent on client requirements and restrictions, you should be prepared for potential travel of up to 40% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze data by digging deeply into the details of operational reviews, assessment matrices, and analysis of business issues.
- Document findings and make recommendations based on analysis.
- Present findings through reporting and/or presentations.
- Participate in the development of solutions to client issues with a focus on solving problems.
- Conduct industry research and trends relative to banking regulations, compliance, and/or general trends within the banking and financial services industries.
- Create and/or contribute to thought leadership content in support of marketing efforts.
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with clients to build and grow your consulting network.
- Leverage consulting network and experience for business development to identify new leads and sales opportunities through ongoing communication with your consulting network.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 7+ years of direct experience working with Metro 2®, consumer data furnishing to consumer reporting agencies (CRAs), and credit reporting disputes.
- Proven track record using analytical abilities.
- Superior Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability and self-discipline to work remotely 100% of the time.
- Willingness and flexibility to take initiative and adapt while moving from project to project with differing objectives.
- Pending no travel restrictions, the ability to travel per client requirements which could be up to 40% of the time.
