About the position

The Credit Business Change Support Consultant serves as a liaison between Credit and Collections business operations and various internal organizations at Eversource. This hybrid role involves coordinating with IT, communications, regulatory compliance, and customer care teams to design, test, and implement enhancements related to Credit and Collections programs across multiple customer information systems.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with IT, communications, regulatory compliance, and customer care teams for project scope and planning.
  • Participate in the design, testing, and implementation of changes related to Credit and Collections programs.
  • Develop and monitor status reports for periodic update meetings.
  • Oversee the preparation and finalization of requirements and deliverables for Credit and Collections communications.
  • Coordinate communication flow between design, maintenance, and training groups.
  • Assist with scheduling, coordination, User Acceptance Testing, and implementation of changes into production systems.
  • Monitor and review critical path assignments to maintain project schedules and adjust priorities as needed.
  • Review and recommend adjustments to policies, procedures, and standards related to system-wide business activities.
  • Evaluate user needs against current system capabilities and collaborate with IT on analysis, design, and testing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business or utility-related discipline.
  • Three or more years of related work experience, preferably with IT systems, analytical models, or project management.
  • Knowledge of Billing, Credit and Collections, and internal management portal systems.
  • Understanding of computer hardware/software concepts and operations, including mainframe and personal computers.
  • Ability to gather and analyze complex information and make recommendations accordingly.
  • Familiarity with basic project management processes and terminology.
