In this role, the manager will have comprehensive oversight of all consumer credit card new account origination credit strategies. This includes not only strategy development but also segment-level reporting and change management activities. The manager will serve as the lead resource in developing quantitative analyses that aim to enhance Huntington's credit card loss metrics and risk-adjusted return results. This involves a thorough planning, execution, presentation, implementation, monitoring, and redevelopment process to ensure continuous improvement. Additionally, the manager will be responsible for the development and maintenance of champion-challenger tests across various approval and line assignment strategies. Regular reporting of results to senior management will be a key aspect of this role, ensuring that the strategies are effective and aligned with business objectives. Continuous interaction with key business partners, including Credit Administration, Underwriting, Fraud, Model Risk Management, Product, and Legal/Compliance, will be essential to advance business priorities and ensure a cohesive approach to risk management.
