About the position

The Credit Card Servicing Associate plays a crucial role within the Credit Card Operations team, focusing on account maintenance, report monitoring, and providing internal support for credit card accounts. This position involves addressing inquiries related to credit card transactions and payments, processing standard requests, and assisting with operational tasks to support the credit card program, particularly for consumer customers.

Responsibilities

  • Handle account maintenance for credit card accounts.
  • Research payment, authorization, or transaction activity.
  • Monitor various work queues and escalation requests from Customer Service and other departments.
  • Handle Credit Bureau disputes and questions.
  • Process bankruptcy notifications and coding.
  • Process settlement and/or workout plans from collections.
  • Answer internal support hotline and departmental mailbox inquiries.
  • Assist credit card customers directly as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Previous operational experience preferred, especially in banking or credit cards.
  • Experience in a customer service setting.
  • Professional demeanor.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word required.
  • Ability to work in multiple systems simultaneously.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Ability to problem solve and identify root causes.
