Lyft is hiring an organized, motivated, and highly detail-oriented AR Ops - Credit & Collections Analyst for its Accounting team. This position will primarily focus on our Lyft Media line of business. The Credit & Collections Analyst will perform a key role in managing the collections and credit check processes of the Accounting department. This role is essential in ensuring that our financial operations run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of the company. The Credit & Collections Analyst will establish and maintain consistent and positive communication with our Lyft Media clients and partners. This includes filtering inbound billing inquiries from clients and helping to route or resolve issues as needed. The analyst will be responsible for maintaining a record of all collections efforts and working towards reducing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO). Additionally, the role involves managing collections to meet monthly and quarterly targets, assisting the Billing team in researching and validating requested adjustments, and collaborating with the Cash App team to address on-account, unapplied, and unidentified payments. The analyst will also resolve any outstanding payment issues, analyze client accounts for collectability issues, and maintain and update client information in ERP and CRM systems. Preparing and maintaining various reports related to accounts receivable (AR) and assisting in the maintenance of an accurate AR aging report are also key responsibilities. Collaboration with the Lyft Media group and other departments is crucial to ensure that Credit and Collections processes align with company initiatives. Other tasks and responsibilities may be assigned as needed, making this a dynamic and engaging role within the organization.
