About the position

As a Senior Associate in Data and Analytics services at PwC, you will play a crucial role in helping organizations leverage data analytics to uncover insights and drive business results. This position focuses on implementing enterprise content and data management applications that enhance operational effectiveness and provide impactful analytics. You will work within a team to solve complex business issues, utilizing a variety of analytical tools and techniques to extract insights and foster confidence in business intelligence.

Responsibilities

  • Help clients implement enterprise content and data management applications.
  • Drive operational effectiveness through impactful data analytics and insights.
  • Solve complex business issues from strategy to execution as part of a team of problem solvers.
  • Use feedback and reflection to develop self-awareness and address development areas.
  • Delegate tasks to others, providing coaching and stretch opportunities.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and bring order to unstructured problems.
  • Review work for quality, accuracy, and relevance.
  • Communicate effectively and influence others in a structured manner.
  • Build quality relationships by reading situations and modifying behavior accordingly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analytics or related areas.
  • Proficiency in analytical software and tools including Python, SAS, R, SQL, and Microsoft Excel/VBA.
  • Experience with econometric/statistical, machine learning, and analytical modeling.
  • Knowledge of retail and wholesale credit risk models, including underwriting scorecards and loss forecasting models.
  • Understanding of model risk management concepts and practices.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree or Doctor of Philosophy in relevant fields such as Economics or Statistics.
  • Experience with statistical and machine learning techniques for analyzing financial data.
  • Model documentation and validation report writing experience.
