About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Distribution Finance Relationship Associate as part of the Business Client Management team. This role involves serving as the primary customer service contact for a portfolio of wholesale loan customers, ensuring timely resolution of account issues, and maintaining professional relationships with assigned accounts. The associate will proactively manage accounts, monitor compliance, and drive customer service improvements based on dealer feedback.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the customer service contact for a portfolio of wholesale loan customers.
  • Develop and maintain a professional relationship with assigned accounts.
  • Ensure timely and accurate resolution of account issues such as billing inquiries, credit line maintenance, order approvals, dealer inventory, and payment website questions.
  • Listen, gather, and analyze dealer feedback to drive customer service improvements.
  • Proactively manage accounts by ensuring each customer is in full compliance with their approved program via collection of amounts due and required credit file documentation.
  • Monitor accounts through the use of portfolio control sub system; review various reports to identify potential problem loans and initiate proactive resolution with Team Lead & Operations Manager.
  • Build a relationship with the customer as measured through Customer Surveys.

Requirements

  • 6+ months of Credit Portfolio Consulting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • Strong problem solving and attention to details.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to articulate thoughts and ideas.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • 1+ years of customer service experience.
  • 1+ years of collections experience.
  • Ability to be an integral part of a strong team.
