About the position

The Credit Portfolio Associate at Wells Fargo serves as the primary customer service contact for a portfolio of wholesale loan customers. This role focuses on developing and maintaining professional relationships with assigned accounts, ensuring timely resolution of account issues, and proactively managing accounts to ensure compliance with approved programs. The associate will also monitor accounts for potential problems and drive customer service improvements based on dealer feedback.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the customer service contact for a portfolio of wholesale loan customers
• Develop and maintain a professional relationship with assigned accounts
• Ensure timely and accurate resolution of account issues such as billing inquiries and credit line maintenance
• Listen, gather, and analyze dealer feedback to drive customer service improvements
• Proactively manage accounts to ensure compliance with approved programs
• Monitor accounts using portfolio control sub system and review reports to identify potential problem loans
• Build relationships with customers as measured through Customer Surveys

Requirements

• 6+ months of Credit Portfolio Consulting experience or equivalent
• 1+ years of customer service experience
• 1+ years of collections experience
• Strong problem solving and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to articulate thoughts and ideas
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
