About the position

The Credit Quality Analyst role involves managing client relationships and overseeing the servicing of commercial real estate construction loans. This position requires independent management of construction draw processes and service modifications, ensuring compliance with documentation and regulatory requirements. The analyst will also be responsible for reviewing construction draw packages, resolving issues, and maintaining accurate loan records while collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all servicing-related activities.
• Manage standard commercial construction draw processes and closing service modifications with some supervision.
• Review construction draw packages and identify construction and title issues.
• Maintain accurate records of loan budgets and sources of funds.
• Ensure loans are balanced and compliant with approvals and documentation requirements.
• Monitor documentation requirements and exceptions, including interest and past dues.
• Perform support functions such as insurance follow-up, payment processing, and handling payoff letters.
• Collaborate with the Client Management team, borrowers, legal counsel, and construction consultants.

Requirements

• Two or more years of commercial real estate construction loan administration experience.
• Experience in finance or accounting.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and credit and operational risk management.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with various business partners.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple loan disbursements and service modifications.
• Technically proficient in Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong problem-solving skills and client service orientation.
• Excellent communication skills.
