About the position

The Credit Quality Analyst position at a leading financial institution involves supporting the Global Credit and Emerging Markets Trading businesses. The role focuses on reviewing loan documentation, drafting agreements, providing operational support, and training team members. The analyst will also handle various operational problems and participate in ad hoc projects, ensuring effective management of loan documentation and credit events.

Responsibilities

• Review of Loan Documentation (Credit Agreements, Lender Presentations, Financials)
• Drafting Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) between the client and prospective investors
• Providing operational support for the Loan Sales Team / Analysts / Traders and their clients (Hedge Funds / Banks)
• Train the team on various procedures, policies, and processes
• Provide supervisory oversight on various processes
• Analysis and resolution of operational problems
• Involvement in ad hoc projects for new processes or industry initiatives
• Record Retention (File saving in approved databases)
• Building & maintaining Virtual Data Sites to house loan Documentation for distribution purposes
• Managing the credit event process for the loan trading desk

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with Syndtrak, DebtDomain, or Intralinks
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency with MS Outlook/email
• Ability to work under pressure both independently & in a team environment
• Ability to liaise with all levels of the firm and work professionally with diverse associates and partners
• Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised, managing own time and knowing when to escalate
• Knowledge of operational risk
