About the position

The Credit Risk Analyst position at American Pest is a dynamic role within the CFO organization focused on identifying, analyzing, monitoring, and managing corporate credit risks. The analyst will work closely with various departments to ensure compliance with credit policies and provide credit recommendations to senior management.

Responsibilities

  • Review, analyze, and monitor credit for energy counterparties, business partners, and key vendors/service providers.
  • Develop and implement methodologies for internal credit review process including coordinating activities with internal credit committees.
  • Monitor compliance with credit policy and standard credit provisions established for master contracts.
  • Provide credit recommendations to and solicit feedback from senior management and individuals throughout the company.
  • Develop strong relationships with Oglethorpe's Fuels, Treasury, Planning, Legal, and Planning Departments as well as the ACES Power Marketing's Credit Department.
  • Prepare creditworthiness assessments for business partners and key vendors/service providers.
  • Monitor changes to the creditworthiness of energy counterparties, business partners, and key vendors/service providers.
  • Maintain corporate credit files and records (e.g., credit review documentation).
  • Provide credit limit/restriction recommendations and ad hoc credit analyses on transactions/contracts.
  • Provide monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc credit reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related fields.
  • 4-5+ years of experience performing analysis and assessment of credit risk and managing credit risk programs.
  • 3-6+ years of progressive financial, business or equity analysis experience, with energy experience being a strong plus.
  • Banking and/or energy experience as well as Bloomberg knowledge would be a plus.
  • Moderate to advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge is strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and written and oral communication skills.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $86,000 - $107,000 per year
