The position involves cultivating relationships with institutional investors and buy-side clients to effectively distribute both primary and secondary corporate bonds. The role is critical in providing insights and market color from strategic accounts, which aids the trading desk in managing market opportunities. The successful candidate will deliver a comprehensive platform that includes senior management, trading, research, and syndicate teammates to our strategic accounts. Collaboration is key, as the individual will work closely with Syndicate and DCM to obtain reverse inquiries for issuing clients. A collaborative approach towards other Market/Risk teammates is essential to leverage the platform effectively. Additionally, the role supports the risk management needs of the trading desk through active sales engagement. As a Director Level position, the candidate is expected to have proven experience in financial markets and a consultative sales approach that utilizes credit skills and market knowledge to manage client transactions. Consistently meeting quality individual revenue goals from a variety of fixed income investors is a critical expectation of this role. The position requires a strong understanding of the credit industry, market dynamics, and products, along with a proven track record in revenue generation and an entrepreneurial nature. The candidate should also possess advanced analytical and technical skills, combined with a problem-solving attitude, to navigate complex market scenarios effectively. Excellent interpersonal skills, good listening abilities, and the capacity to communicate highly complex ideas clearly and concisely are essential for success in this role. Strong partnering and leadership skills in a complex, matrixed environment are also required.
