About the position

The Oracle HCM Functional Associate at SMX is responsible for leveraging expertise in Oracle HCM to design, implement, and optimize solutions that enhance workforce management. This role focuses on the Compensation Module of the Oracle Fusion Human Capital Management software suite and requires collaboration with clients to understand their business objectives and challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and understand the client's business objectives and challenges to determine functional requirements.
  • Integrate functional and technical requirements with other functional and technical teams.
  • Support the Lead in configuring the system and testing the solution with users.
  • Communicate effectively to translate the client's business requirements into functional solutions.
  • Develop training documents specific to the client's business processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Human Resources, any STEM field, or a related field
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and provide quality work products on schedule
  • Ability to travel as needed

Nice-to-haves

  • 1-2 years of experience working in the field of Human Resources, particularly in the public sector
  • Oracle HCM implementation experience
  • Experience documenting business processes
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud modules, either as a user or as an implementer
  • Ability to think critically and demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities
