About the position
The Oracle HCM Functional Associate at SMX is a dynamic role focused on transforming workforce management through Oracle HCM solutions. This position involves analyzing client needs, integrating functional requirements, and supporting system configuration and testing, particularly within the Compensation Module of Oracle Fusion HCM. The role is hybrid, allowing work from either the San Diego, CA or Philadelphia, PA office, and emphasizes collaboration and effective communication to deliver impactful solutions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and understand the client's business objectives and challenges to determine functional requirements.
- Integrate functional and technical requirements with other functional and technical teams.
- Support the Lead in configuring the system and testing the solution with users.
- Communicate effectively to translate the client's business requirements into functional solutions.
- Develop training documents specific to the client's business processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Human Resources, any STEM field, or a related field.
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and provide quality work products on schedule.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Nice-to-haves
- 1-2 years of experience working in the field of Human Resources, preferably in the public sector.
- Oracle HCM implementation experience is preferred.
- Experience documenting business processes.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud modules, either as a user or as an implementer.
- Ability to think critically and demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities.
