The Crew Compensation Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the processing and maintenance of crew compensation and related controls at Atlas Air, Inc. This position involves auditing, processing, and reviewing pay reports, as well as managing sick and vacation tracking systems. The analyst is responsible for providing customer service and support to crewmembers regarding compensation and pay disbursement matters, ensuring compliance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). The role requires a meticulous approach to maintain an 'audit-ready' posture at all times, particularly in relation to the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) compliance controls for compensation. In this position, the analyst will prepare ad hoc reports to meet compliance and internal reporting requirements. They will also be tasked with answering procedural questions from Flight Deck Crew, researching and resolving pay discrepancies, and ensuring accurate and timely pay through the reporting of monthly bid line guarantee hours and displacement credit hours using AIMS and Microsoft Excel. The analyst will review and maintain crew sick and vacation hours from Dayforce, generate various reports to reconcile balances, and audit flight crew travel expense reimbursement requests for compliance with the CBA and company procedures. Additionally, the Crew Compensation Analyst will create, publish, and monitor standard operating procedures to ensure continual compliance with SOX 404, the CBA, and internal controls. They will support the analysis of department processes to improve service quality, productivity, and efficiency, and modify processes as directed by management. Monthly audits will be performed to ensure the accuracy of crew compensation pay adjustments, and the analyst will maintain accurate records and prepare per diem/rig calculations from Excel. Collaboration with Human Resources is essential to support processes involving crew compensation, including sick and vacation balances, medical and personal leave, and workers' compensation. The analyst will also participate in special projects within Flight Operations as needed, maintaining knowledge of CBA and crew compensation operations by consistently following policies and procedures, auditing records, and documenting procedural changes.
