As a Crew Lead at Freedom Forever, you will play a crucial role in our branch operations team, leading a crew to perform residential solar system installations for our customers. In this role, you will oversee on-site solar installation projects, ensuring that all work is performed safely and in compliance with Freedom Forever policies and applicable codes such as NFPA-70, IRC, IFC, and CA-T24. You will be responsible for making sure that the company vehicle is equipped with the required tools and that the materials inventory is accurate. Your leadership will be essential as you provide installation directions to crew members, motivate and supervise the installation crew, and assist in the installation of solar roof components efficiently and safely. You will also be tasked with communicating any necessary changes for the installation, completing job-specific documents, and collecting data and photos for each job. Additionally, you will coordinate and participate in the cleanup of job sites, following and enforcing all safety regulations and policies set by Freedom Forever. This position requires a strong attention to detail, a commitment to productivity, and the ability to work in various weather conditions while maintaining a focus on quality customer service.
