The Crew Lead position at Freedom Forever involves overseeing residential solar installations, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high-quality standards. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to motivate a team and manage various installation tasks on-site. Responsibilities

• Supervise the entire installation project.
• Ensure safety on the job site.
• Complete installations on various roof types and ground mounts.
• Supervise the quality and efficiency of work performed on-site.
• Communicate with the Roof Lead and Branch Manager regarding any necessary changes.
• Mount racking, modules, and electrical equipment.
• Thoroughly fill out job documents and collect data and photos for each job.
• Ensure the rooftop team works collaboratively to improve productivity.
• Drive the company vehicle to and from jobs safely.
• Manage truck tools and material inventory.
• Supervise troubleshooting and fixing projects.
• Clean up the job site after completion.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience in solar installations.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work safely at heights and in confined spaces.
• Physical ability to lift, pull, and push materials and equipment (up to 50 pounds).
• Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in customer service.
• Ability to work in extreme environments (hot sun, cold, rain, etc.).
• Experience with documentation and data collection.
