About the position

The Crew Member at Carl's Jr. is responsible for assisting in various tasks within the dining services operation, including customer service, food preparation, and maintaining food safety and sanitation procedures. This role requires a balance of technical and interpersonal skills, allowing the individual to work both independently and as part of a team while delivering high-quality customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in various tasks within the dining services operation including inventory management and customer service.
• Prepare and build food items according to standardized recipes and directions.
• Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures.
• Set up and break down workstations including prep tables and service counters.
• Serve food to customers while ensuring guest satisfaction and anticipating their needs.
• Replenish food items and ensure products are stocked to appropriate levels.
• Maintain excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards guests and co-workers.
• Communicate regularly with the direct supervisor regarding work status updates and task completions.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 15 or more months of job-related experience, preferably in food service.
• Must have food safety certification.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
• Satisfactory completion of training programs and ability to show competencies.
