The Crew Member position involves maintaining the grounds of industrial, commercial, or public properties, performing various landscaping tasks, and operating hand tools and machinery. The role is essential for ensuring the aesthetic and functional quality of outdoor spaces, requiring physical labor and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintains grounds of industrial, commercial, or public property.
• Operates hand tools and mechanical machinery used for landscape maintenance.
• Cuts lawns and trims edges around walks, flower beds, and walls.
• Prunes shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth or remove damaged parts.
• Applies fertilizers, herbicides, and insecticides to lawns, shrubs, and trees.
• Rakes and bags leaves, cleans grounds, and removes litter.
• Prepares and grades terrain for planting.
• Seeds and sods lawns, installs and transplants trees and shrubs.
• Digs trenches for irrigation systems and supports installation efforts.
• Removes tree brush after pruning and shaping trees.
• Plants grass, flowers, trees, and shrubs, and waters them as needed.
• Cleans out drainage ditches and culverts.
• Sharpens tools such as weed cutters and shears.
• Makes minor repairs on landscaping equipment.
• May shovel snow and spread salt during winter months.
• Trims and removes trees from client properties.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 1 year of landscaping experience required.
• Valid Driver's License.
