About the position

The Crew Member at Moe's is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while taking orders, preparing food, and ensuring the cleanliness of the restaurant. This entry-level position emphasizes a friendly environment and adherence to Moe's standards for food quality and service speed.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to all guests while taking orders and preparing food.
• Ensure all guests receive a friendly environment and acknowledge every guest with a welcoming greeting.
• Maintain and deliver high-quality products within Moe's speed of service standards.
• Upsell and make recommendations to guests regularly.
• Follow all specifications and procedures within Moe's recipes and training materials.
• Maintain cleanliness of the front counter area, food lines, and back of the house.
• Enter orders into the POS system and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant, including beverage center, salsa bar, dining room, and restrooms.
• Handle guest complaints in a timely manner and inquire about the quality of their dining experience.
• Complete food preparation as required according to Moe's standards.
• Cross-train and assist with all aspects of the restaurant.

Requirements

• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States and provide appropriate documentation for I-9.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Experience in a food service environment preferred but not required.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and strong interest in guest services.
• Basic math skills to make change accurately.
• Basic computer knowledge including POS experience.
