About the position

The Crew Worker II position with the City of Oklahoma City involves providing general and semi-skilled labor for construction, maintenance, and repair projects. Employees will work as part of a crew or independently, utilizing various tools and equipment while adhering to safety regulations. This role is essential for maintaining city infrastructure and requires a valid Class B Commercial Driver License (CDL).

Responsibilities

• Perform general and/or semi-skilled labor associated with construction, maintenance, or repair activities.
• Operate a variety of power and hand tools, including heavy power tools and equipment such as jackhammers and concrete saws.
• Prepare and assemble materials, tools, and equipment for transport to and from work sites.
• Assist co-workers as needed in a cooperative manner.
• Follow safety regulations and procedures at all times.

Requirements

• Knowledge of and skill in following established safety procedures, practices, and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and cooperatively with others.
• Ability to work under close supervision and follow verbal instructions.
• Ability to operate basic construction tools and equipment.
• Possession of a valid Class B Commercial Driver License (CDL).
