About the position
The Crime Intelligence Analyst position at the Orlando Police Department involves providing critical administrative and investigative support within the Crime Center. Responsibilities
- Provide research and investigative support during emergency calls for service.
- Monitor crime center cameras for incidents in progress.
- Support sworn investigators with active investigations.
- Analyze case reports for crime trends.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Sociology, or related field.
- Three (3) years of experience as a Crime Analyst or Police Research Assistant.
- Must pass police background investigation including polygraph.
Nice-to-haves
- FDLE Florida Law Enforcement Analyst Training (FLEAT) certificate.
- FDLE Florida Law Enforcement Analyst Academy (FLEAA) certificate.
