About the position

The Crisis Team Leader at Dayton Children's is a part-time role focused on providing direct patient care and clinical support within the Behavioral Crisis Services department. This position involves monitoring patient care, offering education to staff, and assisting in administrative functions. The Team Leader will also engage directly with patients and families, performing crisis assessments and interventions as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care monitoring and clinical support to the Behavioral Crisis Services staff.
  • Assist the Manager of Crisis Services with administrative functions as assigned.
  • Deliver direct services to patients and families in the role of a Crisis Assessment or Intervention Specialist.
  • Conduct care coordination and emergency behavioral health pre-screening.
  • Perform psychosocial assessments and crisis interventions.
  • Manage referrals for patients and their families.
  • Educate and support the Behavioral Crisis Center team.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Counseling or Social Work is required.
  • LISW (Licensed Independent Social Worker) certification is required.
  • LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor) certification is required.
  • CPR and CPI certification preferred.
  • Supervision designation preferred.
