About the position

The Critical Access RN in the Emergency Department at PeaceHealth provides professional nursing care to patients in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care needs.
• Document patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards.
• Direct and delegate care to other team members based on their education and competence.
• Ensure professional effectiveness through ongoing education and development.
• Participate in the development and maintenance of hospital policies and quality improvement programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree from an Accredited School of Nursing (Required).
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Preferred).
• One year of ED and/or ICU RN experience (Required).
• Registered Nurse credential (Required).
• Basic Life Support certification (Required upon hire).
• ACLS certification at date of hire (Required).
• PALS certification within six months of hire (Required).
• TNCC certification within 18 months of hire (Required).
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certification (Preferred).
• Basic computer skills (Required).

Nice-to-haves

• Specialty certification (Preferred).
• ENPC certification (Preferred).
