About the position

Responsibilities
- Manage critically ill patients in the ICU independently.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers in patient care.
- Perform required procedures such as chest tubes, thoracentesis, paracentesis, lumbar puncture, and bronchoscopy.
- Participate in code coverage for the hospital as needed.
- Work day or night shifts as part of the ICU team.
Requirements
- Acute Care certification for Nurse Practitioners or at least 2 years of ICU experience for Physician Assistants.
- Experience in managing critically ill patients in an ICU setting.
- Ability to perform required procedures as listed.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with EMR systems, specifically Meditech.
- Familiarity with trauma and surgical ICU protocols.
