About the position
Valley Health is seeking a Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider to join a multidisciplinary team at Winchester Medical Center. This full-time position involves working in a highly managed ICU setting, providing critical care services alongside physicians and mid-level providers. The role requires a commitment to high-quality patient care and offers a balanced lifestyle with rotating shifts.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a team of physicians and mid-level providers in the ICU.
- Provide critical care services to patients in a managed ICU setting.
- Perform procedures such as central and arterial lines, chest tubes, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and endotracheal intubation.
- Participate in the management of patients across all aspects of Critical Care Medicine.
Requirements
- Two years of Advanced Practice Provider (APP) experience required.
- ICU experience preferred.
- Procedural experience with central and arterial lines, chest tubes, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and endotracheal intubation.
- ACLS certification is helpful.
