About the position

American Traveler is seeking a Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract position in Peoria, Illinois. This role involves working night shifts for a duration of 13 weeks, providing critical care nursing services in a hospital setting. Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing services to patients in a hospital setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and care plans.

Requirements

• 1+ year of recent experience in critical care nursing specialty and setting.
• Valid nursing license as required by the state of Illinois.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through AHA recommended and may be required.
• Specialty-related certifications are preferred and may be required.
