About the position

The Critical Facility Manager (CFM) position at Pegasus Support Services, LLC is a contingent role based in Quantico, Vienna, or Winchester, Virginia. This role is pivotal in overseeing the performance of all duties related to the Critical Facility Team (CFT) Shop, which includes managing personnel assigned to the shop and subcontractors performing work for the shop. The CFM is responsible for ensuring that all service requests, whether they come through work tickets, emails, or phone calls, are received and addressed promptly. This requires a high level of coordination with the General Facility Manager (GFM) regarding facility issues and requests, ensuring that all tasks are prioritized and completed in a timely manner. In addition to managing day-to-day operations, the CFM will be responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining sensitive and classified facility information, documents, and records. This includes working with various classified and unclassified systems, such as the Top Secret SCI network Facilities SharePoint and Secret Classified shared drive. The position requires the CFM to be on-site full-time during regular working hours and may involve the use of a government-issued smartphone. A critical requirement for this role is possessing an active Top Secret security clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information access, which underscores the importance of security and confidentiality in this position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management, particularly in environments that require a high level of security and operational efficiency. The role demands not only technical expertise but also excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively manage the team and ensure high-quality service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the performance of all duties of the CFT Shop and personnel assigned to the shop.
  • Ensure timely receipt and attention to work tickets, email requests, and telephone requests for service.
  • Coordinate closely with the GFM regarding facility issues and requests.
  • Assign tasks to shop personnel, set priorities, and monitor timely completion of all work.
  • Evaluate and analyze work performance of the team.
  • Create, update, and maintain sensitive and/or classified facility information, documents, and records on various classified and unclassified systems.
  • Be on-site full-time during regular working hours.
  • Possibly use a government-issued smartphone.

Requirements

  • Minimum licensed master electrician or licensed master HVAC technician.
  • Extensive experience in the operation of Building Automation Systems of similar size and scope.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Minimum of ten (10) documented years of experience in facilities of similar size and scope, with at least three (3) years' experience in a lead role.
  • High school diploma.
