Critical Infrastructure

About the position

Constellation West is looking for a seasoned Scientist or Engineer with experience analyzing the interaction of specific critical infrastructure systems. The ideal candidate must have advanced nuclear/CBRN survivability knowledge, including DODI3150.09, DODI 3730.01, CJCS Instructions- 3222.01, 6210.01, 6810.01, 6811.01, PPD-35; PPD-24; PPD-40; and SI 501-2. This position is essential and will collaborate with a highly knowledgeable and experienced team to enhance USSTRATCOM's capabilities in planning and executing Strategic Deterrence and Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) operations. This effort aims to fulfill the objectives delineated in the National Defense Strategy.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the interaction of complex systems of critical infrastructure.
• Perform scientific engineering studies and technical analysis of critical infrastructure and systems.
• Conduct computer modeling and simulation of nuclear weapons effects or electronic interactions with critical infrastructure.
• Understand the technical, engineering, and physical interaction of CBRN threats to critical infrastructure.
• Test and certify critical infrastructure against a wide variety of physical threats.
• Staff complex packages and adjudicate content related to NC2/NC3 capabilities and procedures.
• Understand national, DOD, and CJCS guidance with specific knowledge of nuclear/CBRN survivability.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a scientist or engineer analyzing critical infrastructure systems.
• Advanced knowledge of nuclear/CBRN survivability and relevant DOD instructions and CJCS guidance.
