About the position

The Critical Power Field Service Engineer is responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the optimal performance, safety, and reliability of critical power systems. This role requires a strong engineering background, particularly in critical power systems, and involves problem-solving, technical guidance, and collaboration with team members and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor maintenance and installation procedures for critical power systems.
  • Perform routine inspections and tests on critical power systems to identify any potential issues or malfunctions.
  • Troubleshoot and repair any faults or failures in critical power systems to ensure their optimal performance and safety.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other team members, clients, and stakeholders regarding critical power systems.
  • Collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and stakeholders to develop and improve critical power systems.
  • Prepare and present technical reports and documentation regarding the maintenance, performance, and improvement of critical power systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements in critical power systems and related technologies.
  • Adhere to all safety and quality standards and regulations in all operations.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent field experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, specifically dealing with critical power systems.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of critical power systems, including their design, installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
  • A valid driver's license, with the ability to travel to different locations as required.
  • Proficiency in using various tools and equipment used in the maintenance and repair of critical power systems.
  • A strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
