About the position

The CRM System Admin position at Tecknomic involves managing the effective provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of computer hardware, software, and related infrastructure for the Department of Buildings (DOB) in Washington, D.C. This full-time, onsite role requires advanced knowledge of records management methodologies and systems, as well as a strong focus on customer service and effective communication.

Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of Federal and District of Columbia records management laws, regulations, rules, policies and procedures.
  • Understanding of the principles and concepts of information governance of various phases of records and information management.
  • Knowledge of record storage systems and retention procedures, including relevant rules and regulations established by the District of Columbia and Department of Buildings.
  • Skill in evaluating the day-to-day functioning of a program and initiating changes to improve effectiveness.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with local records officials, federal and state agents, the public, and management staff.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion in developing, applying, and interpreting policies and procedures.
  • Skill in effective communication to organize ideas and present findings logically with supporting criteria for specific issues.
  • Ability to understand the Agency's Records Programs and their interaction with e-records systems.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience interpreting laws, regulations, procedures, or guidelines.
  • Ability to administer and manage an automated fulfillment and registration system as well as Microsoft Office software applications.

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of experience in a related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of records management methodologies, systems, and standards of practice.
  • Strong focus on customer service and effective communication skills.
