The CRM Systems Administrator I is a pivotal role within the Pacific Technology department, responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computing equipment and services associated with Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) systems. This position plays a crucial role in managing servers and hosted systems to support both business and academic processing requirements. A key aspect of the role involves auditing applications, servers, and network device security, ensuring compliance with University security policies and procedures, and implementing necessary upgrades. The CRM Systems Administrator I collaborates with existing staff to implement and troubleshoot systems and University computing services, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. In terms of application administration, the CRM Systems Administrator I performs software installations and upgrades to application packages, schedules these installations in accordance with established Pacific Technology policies, procedures, and service level agreements (SLAs). The role also includes assisting with cloud-based deployments to ensure reliability and providing data reporting for users of the CRM systems, such as Salesforce, Advise, and Slate. Building and maintaining strong relationships with functional clients is essential, as is ensuring compliance with University data security standards and maintaining data integrity through appropriate software and hardware solutions. The position also involves technical project support, where the administrator researches and influences selection decisions for the deployment of enterprise systems and services. Acting as technical project support for multi-campus impacting projects, the CRM Systems Administrator I interacts with University leadership to define and outline technical requirements and outcomes. The role promotes standard operating procedures and proposes improvements to academic and business systems, fostering collaborative support among administrators of applications and servers. Troubleshooting service failures with root cause analysis and implementing solutions is a critical function of this position, along with performing other related duties as assigned.
