About the position

The RN Specialty Program Coordinator is responsible for overseeing clinic-specific specialty services or programs. This role involves collaboration with the Director of Operations and an interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate specialty programs and services. The coordinator ensures compliance with program requirements, provides patient care, and engages in patient and staff education.

Responsibilities

  • Oversight of clinic-specific specialty services or programs.
  • Accountable for specialty program requirements including development, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Partner with medical group physicians and other health providers to develop care pathways.
  • Obtain patient consent for care and ensure patient confidentiality.
  • Document health history, vital signs, and assess patient conditions.
  • Provide patient care based on practice guidelines and regulations.
  • Execute prescribed treatments and monitor patient responses.
  • Educate patients and families about health maintenance and management of conditions.
  • Document patient assessments and interventions using established systems.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care processes.
  • Track quality assurance data for acute and chronic care management.

Requirements

  • Wyoming Registered Nurse (RN) License or enhanced Nurse Licensure (eNLC).
  • Five (5) or more years of nursing experience.
  • Cheyenne Regional AHA RQI within 14 calendar days of start date.
  • Valid USA driver's license with a clean driving record.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous medical specialty experience.
  • Experience in clinical program oversight, development, or management.
