Emory Specialty Associates (ESA) is seeking to hire Anesthetists, specifically Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA) or Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants (CAA), to become a vital part of Emory Healthcare's integrated academic healthcare system. The positions are located at Emory Specialty Associates at Spivey Station and Kaiser Permanente Southwood in Jonesboro, GA. The work schedule is flexible, offering full-time and part-time options, with a combination of 8 and 10-hour shifts available. Importantly, there are no calls, weekends, or holidays required for this role. The selected candidates will be responsible for assisting in the administration of general and regional anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical and non-surgical procedures under the direction of an Anesthesiologist. This includes performing initial acute cardio-pulmonary resuscitation in life-threatening situations, instructing others in anesthesia principles, and interpreting and recording patients' physiological and pharmacological status. The role also involves establishing multi-parameter monitoring of patients before, during, and after anesthesia, managing pre- and post-anesthetic care, and assisting in research projects as directed by the Anesthesiologist. Candidates should have general anesthesia experience in an ambulatory surgical setting, as this is highly preferred. The salary range for full-time positions is between $168,300 and $205,000 per year, based on years of experience. Part-time positions (20-31 hours per week) are also eligible for benefits.
