About the position
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our healthcare team at OM Cares in Coppell, TX. The CRNA will play a crucial role in providing anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical and medical procedures, specifically focusing on sedation for pain management cases. This part-time position requires a strong understanding of anesthesiology principles and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Monitor vital signs and patient responses throughout the anesthesia process.
- Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia assessments, including reviewing medical history and current medications.
- Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and anesthesiology practices.
- Experience in patient monitoring techniques and vital signs assessment.
