In this role, you will develop strategic marketing plans for the crop protection product line, aligning with Loveland's long-term direction for the US and Canada. You will collaborate closely with Loveland research and sales personnel, industry contacts, and Nutrien personnel to assess market conditions and manage a portion of the Loveland crop protection portfolio. Additionally, you will work with the sales and tech service group to validate product performances through marketing field trials, providing financial analysis for the product line with timely forecasts and portfolio rationalization opportunities. Your role will also involve identifying and implementing new promotional tactics to create awareness of our products.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic marketing plans for the crop protection product line consistent with Loveland's long term direction, for the US and Canada
  • Work closely with Loveland research/sales personnel, industry contacts, and Nutrien personnel to accurately assess market conditions and manage a portion of the Loveland crop protection portfolio
  • Collaborate with sales and tech service group to validate product performances, both new and old, with marketing field trials designed to strengthen overall marketing messages
  • Provide financial analysis for the product line with timely and accurate forecasts as well as analyzing the current line to determine portfolio rationalization opportunities
  • Identify and implement new promotional tactics to create awareness

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree; Agriculture related field preferred
  • 8+ years' professional experience with 6+ years in sales or marketing in an Ag related field
  • Ability to travel 30-40% nationally and internationally (Canada)
