About the position

The CrunchTime Administrator at Shake Shack is responsible for maintaining the Crunchtime Information Systems database, which is essential for controlling food, beverage, and labor costs. This role involves training users on Crunchtime software products, ensuring system synchronization with other integrated systems, and supporting users at both corporate and restaurant locations. The position also includes implementing the application at new store openings and preparing analytical reports for inventory control.

Responsibilities

  • Execute Crunchtime data maintenance including adding new products and recipes, updating vendor information, and managing vendor order guides.
  • Ensure the CrunchTime system remains in sync with other integrated systems such as POS and accounting software.
  • Monitor data transfer error remediation to fix any failed file transfers.
  • Evaluate new software release versions, request upgrades, and test new features for implementation.
  • Create and update standard Crunchtime training materials as new features are added.
  • Motivate team members through ad-hoc training projects to enhance troubleshooting skills and software knowledge.
  • Communicate with Crunchtime Client Services to address outstanding issues and training needs.
  • Prepare analytical results for Food, Beverage & Inventory Control and investigate cost/revenue variances.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of Crunchtime software
  • Basic accounting knowledge including P&L and COGS
  • Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Visio, especially MS Excel (vlookup)
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills
  • Time management, prioritization, and organizational skills

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in client services
