About the position
The Clinical Specialist Manager of Neuromodulation at Boston Scientific is responsible for overseeing clinical development and leading the neuromodulation field team. This role focuses on enhancing team efficiency, coaching clinical representatives, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The manager will also play a critical role in recruiting top clinical talent and supporting sales development within the clinical team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee clinical development and provide leadership for the neuromodulation field team.
- Identify and implement strategies to increase efficiency and improve productivity of the clinical team.
- Manage and coach clinical representatives through field rides and meetings to ensure alignment of goals and talent development.
- Demonstrate effective change leadership to adapt to evolving customer needs and industry expectations.
- Collaborate with HR to recruit and hire top clinical candidates for open positions.
- Support sales development of the clinical team in procedures, service needs, and product knowledge.
- Ensure all direct reports have annual/quarterly objectives and implement a regular performance evaluation schedule.
- Communicate regularly with direct reports and other stakeholders regarding clinical activities and market changes.
- Perform administrative tasks related to management, expense, inventory, and communication activities.
Requirements
- Minimum of seven years of clinical experience in a related field, such as nursing or healthcare discipline.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated leadership and credibility within the local team.
- Ability to manage conflict effectively and implement change.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Energetic, organized, determined, and goal-oriented.
