About the position

DataSoft Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Interface Coordinator with expertise in Civil, Structural, or Architectural disciplines to join our client's SRPPF project. This role is pivotal in managing and coordinating various interfaces across construction phases, ensuring seamless integration and communication between different project components. The Interface Coordinator will be responsible for defining interaction points between civil, structural, and architectural components of the project, facilitating clear communication and coordination between teams, and conducting regular meetings to maintain detailed documentation. In this position, the Interface Coordinator will address and resolve conflicts arising from overlaps or misalignments between different scopes of the project. They will maintain comprehensive records of interface management, including interface agreements and status updates, and proactively identify and manage risks related to interfaces to prevent project delays and cost overruns. Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) considerations will be integrated throughout the project phases, ensuring that all aspects of the project adhere to safety standards. The successful candidate will develop and execute interface management strategies, maintain interface records, and lead meetings to ensure alignment and information sharing among stakeholders. Collaboration with project teams, clients, and external stakeholders will be essential to address and integrate interface management procedures effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and define interaction points between civil, structural, and architectural components of the project.
  • Facilitate clear communication and coordination between civil, structural, and architectural teams.
  • Conduct regular meetings and maintain detailed documentation.
  • Address and resolve conflicts arising from overlaps or misalignments between different scopes of the project.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of interface management, including interface agreements and status updates.
  • Proactively identify and manage risks related to interfaces to prevent project delays and cost overruns.
  • Ensure HSE considerations are integrated throughout the project phases.
  • Develop and execute interface management strategies, maintain interface records, and lead meetings to ensure alignment and information sharing.
  • Collaborate with project teams, clients, and external stakeholders to address and integrate interface management procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum of seven (7) years in a project role with a focus on civil, structural, or architectural interface management.
  • Bachelor's Degree in the relevant engineering area is preferred.
  • Proven success as a Project Manager on large-scale engineering or construction projects.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly recommended.
  • Proactive and goal-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent analytical abilities and technical/business writing proficiency.
  • Basic proficiency in computer software including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations.
  • Strong standards for quality, timeliness, and project success.
